ST 86 NW BOX ASHLEY
2/12 Barn to north east of Ashley Farm House (formerly listed as Barn with 20 12 60 Dovecote at Ashley Farm)
Barn, early C18, rubble stone with stone tiled roof, coped gables and opposed gabled projecting cart entries. Flush quoins and 2 rows of vent loops to side walls. Projecting west gable is 2- storey with dovecote over cart-entry and ridge stone-tiled lantern.
Entries are through bead-moulded windows with dripstone in coped dormer gables to each side of main gable. South side has 2-light window, north side has single light over chamfered single light, also with dripstone. Squared rubble lean-to to left of cart-entry.
Attached at north end, squared rubble, Bridgwater-tiled stable with coped north gable. West door flanked by 2-light window each side and with central coped dormer gable over.
