1805-1811 by Daniel Harris of Oxford. Coursed rubble. Dominates the entrance to the town. Hexagonal central building with slate roof, central ashlar shaft. Large entrance archway to Bridge Street with two storeys above, three small windows. Three lower radiating wings with small barred rectangular windows ashlar architraves. Slate roofs, hipped at quoins. Band between storeys.
