7/6 Pymore Terrace (Nos 1 to 12)

Terrace of 12 cottages,formerly for mill workers, c 1800. Coursed lias stone walls. Slate roof with gable ends, stepped up owing to slope between numbers 6 and 7. Red brick stacks at ridge between every cottage (party walls). 2 storeys. 12 window range (2 blocks of 6). C20 wooden casements with glazing bars,and at west end without them. C20 dormers with weather- boarded sides and flat asbestos or gabled roofs. Wooden front doors at right of each either plain plank or plank with a glass light. Small C20 Bradstone porches to nos 1, 2, 8, 10, 11, 12. "Somerset and Dorset Notes and Queries", Vol XXXI, March 1982, pp 205-9.
