BUCKLAND C.P. LAWRENCE LANE TQ 25SW 4/55 1 and 3 Orchard Farm Cottages II

House, extended and divided, originally the Parish Workhouse. C16 with C17 additions. Timber framed, clad in pebble-dashed roughcast, tile hung to first floor centre and right, C19 tile hanging on rear with plain tiled roofs over.

T-shaped plan with wings to rear. Two storeys and attics with one gable-lit attic window to left and three, hip-roofed casement dormers to centre/right.

Ribbed end stack to right, front ridge stack to left and further stacks to rear.

Moulded eaves board to roof. Two casement windows on each floor to right of centre, two first floor and one ground floor window to gabled bay. Pentice to left end with one window on each floor. Half-glazed door to left of centre.

Further door in left hand return front.

Interior:- some main posts of frame visible.
