5/63 Plaistow Mill House -
GV II
House, early C19, with earlier parts in 2 short projecting wings to rear. Rendered stone rubble and slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Gable end stacks now cemented over. F-shaped plan. Symmetrical facade. Original timber. Sashes with glazing bars 8 panes per sash to each side of central doorway with plain C20 porch. 3 similar sashes above. One 2-light and one- 3-light small pane gothick window in each gable end. A long low 2-storey extension to left with irregular remodelled fenestration but some 2-pane casements, formerly a byre with millworkers accommodation above.
