GV II

House. Mid C18. Ham Hill stone ashlar; slate roof; brick stacks to gable ends. Double-depth central-staircase plan. 2 storeys, symmetrical 3-window range. Step to Tuscan porch. All windows have late C19 or C20 horned 2/4-pane sashes except ground floor right, which is a C19 canted bay with 3 ogees cut into the cornice above the windows. Thin projecting cornice under a parapet with 3 recessed panels above windows and coping ramped to brick end stacks. C18 lead hopperhead to left reveal. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached spearhead area railings with urn finials to left of door.
