BRADFORD ABBAS ST 5814-5914 NORTH STREET (West side) 11/17 11.7.51 Chantry Cottage

GV II Detached Cottage. Early C17, with possible earlier core. Coursed rubble- stone walls. Thatch roof with stone gable-copings. Brick stacks at left hand gable, and at ridge right of centre, C20. 1 storeys, 3 windows of 3 and 2 lights, hollow-chamfered stone mullions, separate labels over ground floor. Iron casements and C20 metal casements with lead lights. Front door at centre, plank door studded with strap hinges, C20. Thatch porch canopy carried on two wooden posts. Interior: probably of historic interest. Access not obtained.
