Cottage with C17 mid origins. Random local Stone, plain clay tiled roof with fish scale tile courses. 1-storey and attic. A nearly central stone mullioned 4-light window with ovolo mouldings and label head; remaining windows simple wood casements randomly placed: first floor window set in gabled dormer. (Door to North side). End brick stack (South side): the original fireplace (slightly altered) and reducing flue survive. Probably early Cl9 winding staircase (no handrail), some early partitions and doors; roof purlins and principal rafters (probably original) exposed in bedroom.
