SU 16 NW WEST OVERTON LOCKERIDGE (east side) 9/135 Jay's Cottage II Cottage set gable end to street. C17. Sarsen with some timber framing with brick noggings, all colourwashed. Thatched roof.

Single storey and attic, 4 bays. First two bays only retain some framing set on sarsen boulder low sills, the framing one panel high with some cross pieces. Gable end of sarsen. Boarded stable door on north side in second bay. Leaded timber windows. Stack in third bay. Thatch swept over two dormers on south, 3 on north, and quarter hipped at street end. Rough chamfered spine beams internally.
