Smithy. 1905. By J. Lomax Simpson. Timber-frame on stone base, hipped stone slate roof, with gablets. One storey, 4 bays, central bays recessed behind continuous bracketed eaves, similar to Wealden house form. Windows have leaded glazing, those to central bays of 3 lights, 1st bay has 3- light window and 4th bay has projecting 5-light window with weatherboard gable. Central entrance and entrance to 1st bay have Tudor heads and paired plank doors with strap hinges. Stone cross-axial stack. Returns have louvred gablets, left return has swept cat-slide roof, right return has projecting gabled 4-light window and 3-light window.
Rear has stone lateral stack, 2-light window and entrance.
Forecourt has sign on post and spreading chestnut tree.
