Farmhouse. C17, refronted C19. Random rubble, dressed flush quoins, steeply pitched slate roof, coped verges, 2 ashlar stacks with moulded caps. Two storeys and attic, 2 bays, 4-pane sash windows in plain stone surrounds, bracketed sills. Door opening to right in a similar surround, 6-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed, transomlight, C20 rubble porch, hipped slate roof. Two storey, one bay wing of lower height set back to left, moulded 2-light mullioned windows under stopped labels, relieving arch above opening to ground floor. Two and 3-light stone-mullioned windows to right return under stopped labels. Interior with ornamental plaster ceiling dated 1627, and a Jacobean overmantle with carved arcading, both removed from Manor Cottages (qv).
