House, formerly 2 cottages. Probably mid C19. Plastered cob and rubble; rubble stacks with C20 thick brick chimney shafts; slate roof (formerly thatch). Double depth plan house facing south-east, 2 rooms to front and 2 to rear. End stacks. 2 storeys. Balanced but not symmetrical 3-window front of late C19 early C20 casements with glazing bars. Paired 4-panel doors centre and centre right sharing late C19 early C20 monopitch slate-roofed hood with shaped valances either end.
Interior has most early features hidden by C20 plaster and fittings but unfinished tree trunk crossbeam is exposed in right front room. Included for group value.
