WOKINGHAM ROSE STREET SU 8168 NW (South east side) 18/66 No.63 (formerly listed as No.63 and 63A) 2.10.69 G.V. II Cottage. Late C16, altered early C18 and late C20. Timber framed encased in brick on front, exposed at rear with brick infill. Old tile roof.

Rectangular plan of 2 framed bays, formerly jettied on road front. 2 storeys and attic. Ridge chimney on left. Black painted plinth and render to ground floor cill, plat band, and boxed eaves. 2 bay front.

Sash windows with glazing bars and gauged brick arches. Entrance door at rear. Interior:- Principal beam on ground floor has chamfers and plain stopped ends. Inglenook chimney with moulded 4-centred beam, partly damaged, over opening.
