MORCHARD BISHOP POLSON HILL, Frost SS 79 NE 5/185 - Wayside GV II

Small house. Late C17-early C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob or rubble stack with C20 brick chimney shaft; thatched roof. 2-room plan cottage facing south-west with large stack projecting from left (north-west) end and serving larger ground floor room. Adjoining Frost Cottages, Frost (q.v.) to right (south-east). 2 storeys. Roughly symmetrical 3-window front of late C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars. Central doorway with C20 door. Roof hipped to right.

Interior: main room has chamfered and runout stopped crossbeam but fireplace is blocked. Roof not inspected.
