WOOLFARDISWORTHY WOOLFARDISWORTHY SS 80 NW 6/300 Chest tomb approximately 20 - metres south of west tower of Church of St Mary GV II

Chest tomb and area railings. Mid C19. Portland stone tomb and cast iron railings.

Tomb is rectangular in plan with moulded base and lid. Sides have sunken fielded panels and centre of north side includes an heraldic achievement in circular panel.

Inscription was originally on a plaque applied to south side but it no longer survives. Area railings with spear heads and circular-section corner posts with urn caps, all set into Portland stone plinth.
