WOOLFARDISWORTHY WOOLFARDISWORTHY SS 80 NW 6/304 Gateposts and gates approximately - 350 metres south of the Old Rectory - II

Gateposts and gate. Circa 1840-50. Plastered brick or rubble piers and cast iron gate. Large square-sectioned piers with moulded base and soffit-moulded flat caps.

Gate has lockrail and railings with fleur-de-lys finials. Alternative rails rise only to lock bar. Full height rails have foliate knots on upper sections. Lower section below lock rail has diagonal cross braces.
