17/200 Walls, piers, gates and 17/12/71 railings in front of Careers Centre.
Walls, piers, gates and railings. 1883 by R.J. Johnson. Sandstone ashlar and wrought iron. 2 tall piers at west entrance, one at east end of wall south of Youth Employment Centre, and one to north-west. 3 rusticated square piers with plinths, cornices and ball finials, and one without cornice and finial at north- west. Dwarf stone walls with moulded coping to west and south of building. Spear- head railings with ramped top rails, panelled principals with urn finials. Wide gates on west, with overthrow, and plainer single gate on south.
