Road bridge over River Tone. Circa 1820. Squared and coursed blue lias, saddle back Ham stone coping and Ham stone voussoirs. Single span, semi-circular arch, string course, end pilasters, hump backed bridge. This is very similar to the bridges over the Taunton-Bridgwater canal erected c1825 to the designs of James Hollinsworth. The bridge is shown on the Greenwood map of Somerset, published 1822.
