Farmhouse. C16, altered subsequently. Roughcast over rubble and cob. Some exposed lias rubble, south east gable end rebuilt in brick, partially rendered west wing, thatched roof, central section on north east front double Roman tiles, similarly tiled outshut, brick stack south-east gable end, originally external. L-plan, entrance on north-east front flanked by outshots. South west front: one and a half storeys, cross wing gable left lit only ground floor right, C20 window, two 3-light eyebrow dormers, ground floor left single storey corrugated iron roofed glazed porch masking door, right 3-light casement, full height raking buttress set against bulging wall right; north east front unlit except in outshot right, C20 window, fine segmental headed chamfered wooden doorframe, plank door. Interior: partially seen: very large chamfered axial beam with step and runout stops, chamfered lintel with stops to gable end fireplace; could well contain other features of interest including original roof structure.
