TQ6059-6159 WROTHAM C.P. THE SQUARE 7/22 (east side) 1.8.52 Bishop's Lodge GV II

House. Dated 1734 with earlier framed structure incorporated at rear and early C19 front elevation. Stucco with plat band and red brick sides. Parapet to plain tiled roof with 3 flat-roofed leaded dormers and end projecting brick stacks. Parallel range plan. 2 storeys and attics; regular 3 bay facade, glazing bar sashes.

Central panelled door in Doric half-columned doorcase with moulded entablature.

Dated 1734 on chimney-breast at side. Kitchen premises at rear incorporate a C17 framed structure.
