PARISH OF TICKNALL HIGH STREET SK 32 SE 4/87 (East Side) The Staff of Life Public House GV II Public house. Early C19. Red brick with plain tile roof and brick gable stacks, sawtooth eaves cornice. Two and three storeys. East elevation of three plus two bays. Double fronted three bay part of three storeys. Three steps up to central segment headed doorway with raised and fielded panelled door.

Flanked by 3-light segment headed casements. The first floor has two similar windows either side of a similar 2-flight window.

the second floor has three similar windows under flat arches.

Two storey range to right has to the ground floor a 3-light segment headed window, a blocked doorway, a 3-light segment headed window and a segment headed doorway with C20 half glazed door. One flat-arched 2-light window above.
