20/136 Heddon Banks Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. c.1850. Ashlar and coursed stone with Welsh slate roof. 2-storey. 3-bay house to left with lower 2-bay wing recessed to right. Chamfered plinth.

3 steps up to central 2-leaf door in Tudor-arched surround with hoodmould.

2-light mullioned windows in raised chamfered surrounds with an 8-pane sash in each light; cornices over ground floor windows. Moulded top cornice. Gabled roof with ridged coping and kneelers. Corniced end stacks with 4 clustered shafts.

Attached wing has panelled door with 5-pane overlight, and joins with the farm buildings (q.v.).
