INGATESTONE AND FRYERNING TQ69NW TRUELOVES LANE, Ingatestone 723-1/6/557 Stable block at Trueloves 04/05/94 I GV II Stable block 1859. By William White. Polychrome brickwork, mainly red brick with black and gault decoration. Slate roof, gabled with decorative bands. Gothic style. 2 storey 'gatehouse' and single storey wings enclose a central court with clerestorey roof over. Front has central gatehouse-block with gable with clock face and 2 pointed arched windows on first floor over 4 centred carriage arch. Short link roofs and then front facing gables over single storey blocks with circular blind windows in gables over 2 pointed arched windows. Trueloves (qv), dairy/game larder (qv) and stable block form a group.
