SX4753 GRAND PARADE, Hoe, West 740-1/66/314 (South side) The Waterfront

GV II

Harbourside pavilion, now a restaurant. Late C19. Stucco with Tuscan pilasters or half-columns dividing bays and moulded entablature; panelled parapet with moulded cornice; flat roof.

Symmetrical plan with articulated front with bowed window bays flanking a square central porch and bowed 1:3:1-bay wings set back on either side. Single storey with C20 windows to each bay except for the half-domed niches flanking the wings; all windows with glazing bars including central round-arched porch window with fanlight head. Glazed doors to sides of porch. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value.
