Early C17 building carefully restored. Colour washed plaster over timber framework. Steeply pitched old tiled roofs. 2 storeys with upper floor oversailing on moulded beams. Encloses 2 sides of yard entered through tall carriageway from Royston Road. Flush casement windows with glazing bars. Projecting gable on south at west end, large gable on west at south end. Occupies a prominent site.

Nos 2 to 6 (consec) form a group.
