11/267 Jackson monument, in churchyard, about 9m south of south aisle west of porch, Church of St. Peter and St. Paul

GV II

Elongated pedestal tomb: about 1835; stone. Flat lid with moulded edge. Corners quarter-square gadrooned balusters: sides sunk panel with moulded edge, eared top and bottom, main face curved back at edges to give relief to frame. Ends fielded edge to rectangular panel, with indented segmental top and bottom.

Moulded top to plinth. Commemorates John Jackson, died 1835, his wife died 1834, other inscriptions, latest 1864, earliest 1799.
