Housc, C17 with alterations of mid C19 and C20. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan, the main range of 1 storey with attics, and the parlour cell of 2-storey cross-wing form. Timber-framed, encased in mid C19 brick, now painted; at the corners of the cross-wing are shallow pilasters. Plaintiled roofs; a massive C17 axial chimney of red brick with a square moulded base. Plaintiled gabled casement dormers. C20 small pane casements within C19 openings, which have moulded cast iron lintels on console brackets. Gabled brick and plaintiled C19 entrance porch with pointed arched battened and boarded door. Some unmoulded timber-framing exposed internally, including a large blocked diamond-mullioned window in the rear wall. Clasped purlin roofs.
