5407 (West Side) Nos 28 to 30 (consec) SU 1869 1/288 II 2.

Ealry C18. Rendered. No 28 is part timber-framed (and so, possibly, are the others) and has tile-hung side. C19 pitched slate roof with sprocketing. Red brick stacks with C19 cornicing. 2 storeys and attics. No 28 has 3 cased sashes with glazing bars on 1st floor, and 3 blind panels above. Ground floor has 1 cased sash with glazing bars, 1 door with 6 fielded panels and 2 glazed, and 1 shopfront.

No 29 has 1 cased sash with glazing bars on 1st floor, 1 shopfront, and 1 half- gazed door with etched and frosted glass pane, both surmounted by moulded cornice on ground floor. 1 attic dormer with sash and glazing bars.

No 30 has 3 sashes with glazing bars on 1st floor, 1 shopfront, and 1 half-glazed door with etched and frosted glass pane, both surmounted by moulded cornice on ground floor. 1 attic dormer with sash and glazing bars.

The last section of the descriptive notes should read :- No 30 has 3 sashes with glazing bars on first floor, 1 shop front and 1 modern door surmounted by plain modern cornice on ground floor, 2 attic dormers with sash and glazing bars.
