GV II

Pair of cottages, now integrated with The Fox Inn to the left (qv). Probably late C18; altered and remodelled internally. Coursed graduated sandstone rubble, stone slate roof. Formerly double-depth, each single fronted. 2 low storeys, 1+1 windows; doorways to the left, with thin rectangular lintels and board doors; square 3-light casement windows at ground floor, with applied hexagonal-patterned leading, and oblong 3-light casements above (replacing small-paned sliding sashes). Now without a chimney.
