SO 51 SE COLEFORD MARKET PLACE (east side)
4/19 Nos 34 and 35
GV II
Formerly 2 houses, now one shop. Late C18. No 34 has incised render, No 35 coursed and dressed rubble stone. Both have hipped slate roofs and stone end stacks. Both 3 storeys - No 34 slightly lower. 6 windows, glazing bar sashes with stone lintels with incised voussoirs, arranged as 2 bays to No 34 and 4 bays to No 35.
Continous C20 shop front on ground floor across both buildings.
In No 35 some interior joinery and fittings remain and despite ground floor alterations this is a good example of town house design. House, warehouse and link buildings to rear not included.
