WOOBURN WOOBURN TOWN SU 98 NW 6/208 School House - GV II House. Early C18, refronted 1851 as dated on plaque. Front is of flint with brick dressings, gables rendered and whitewashed with timber trusses, rear timber framed with whitewashed brick infill.

Plain tile roof, brick chimneys to left and between right bays.

2 storeys, 3 bays. Front has wooden casements of 1851 with horizontal glazing bars and stop-chamfered mullions. 3-light windows in left bay, 2-light to remainder. Upper windows have half-timbered gables with bargeboards above, lower windows have flat brick arches. Board door between left bays with small lean-to tiled hood and diamond-shaped date plaque above. Included for group value.
