WOOBURN THE GREEN SU 98 NW 6/175 No.22 (Minions Cottage ) - GV II House. 2 C16 bays to right, with later bay, probably early C19, to left. C20 rear wing. C16 bays have timber framing to upper storey, with curved brace at right end, whitewashed render infill and exposed beam ends of original jetty. Ground floor underbuilt, rendered and whitewashed. Left bay also rendered and whitewashed with half-timbering. Old tile roof, small C20 brick chimney between right bays. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. Right bays have C20 3-light leaded casements and similar 2-light casement in central blocked doorway. 2 gabled dormers with C20 paired leaded casements. Metal sundial to centre of upper storey, C20 rainwater head dated 1541.

C20 door with carved panels in C20 lean-to porch to left. Left bay has C20 2-light leaded casement to first floor and lean-to garage entry below. Rear is timber framed and has matching C20 wing with jettied upper storey. Interior: heavy floor joists with chamfered spine beams on bracketted posts; cambered tie beams; queen strut trusses, that to centre with additional raking queen posts; curved wind-braces; no original fireplace.
