One building. Late C18. 3 storeys and attics in ashlar. Stone slate mansard roof with 2 cambered dormers with glazing bars. 2 stone chimney stacks. 7 windows in plain reveals, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Stone bands continue cills.
No 39 has C19 shop front, modern shop front to No 40.
Nos 36 to 4O (consec) form a group.
