STEEPLE ASHTON CHURCH STREET ST 95 NW (off north side) 7/221 Front walls and gate piers at The Manor House GV II
Walls and gate piers, parallel to front of Manor House. Probably late C17. Flemish bond brick on rubble stone plinth, weathered stone coping swept to sides and gate piers. Central rusticated limestone gate piers with moulded cappings to large scalloped ball finials, volutes against piers from top of wall. Wooden double gates with semi-circular stone steps up from outer drive. Five step rubble stone double-sided mounting block against right hand part of wall.
