5407 (North Side) Barton Farm House SU 1868 5/143 II GV 2.

Mid Cl9, incorporating parts of Cl8 house. Red brick. Hipped slate roof, with overhanging eaves on cut brackets. Tall brick chimneys with cornicing. 2 storeys.

5 ranges of sashes. Door with 2 glazed and 2 fielded panels, and oblong fanlight, in delicate wrought iron porch formerly with tent roof.

East wing early Cl8. Red brick. Pitched tile roof. Tall brick stack, 1 storey and attic. South elevation rendered with shaped parapet and 2 flush- framed cased sashes. 3 casements and 1 attic dormer on east elevation. West elevation has 2 boarded up windows and 1 casement with lead glazing bars.

All the listed buildings at Barton farm form a group.
