A continuous range of small C18 houses standing above road level for most of its length and with a terraced pavement along the front, approached by steps from the road at lowest level, and diminishing in height with the rise in the road towards the town centre. Mainly two storeys and attic. Nos 10, 12, 14 and 16 have gabled dormers. Nos 10 and 12 are rendered and Nos 14 and 16 rendered on ground floor only. Remainder vitreous brick with red dressings. All with raised plinth, moulded brick eaves and old tile roofs. Nearly all one window and door. No 22 has a rectangular bay window and No 24 a segmental bow window on ground floor. Some sash windows, some three light casements. Some six-panel but mainly four-panel doors, with flat hoods of varying design to Nos 14, 20, 22 and 24, some dentilled, carried on scroll cut brackets.
Nos 2 to 24 (even) form a group.
