Adjoining 'Churchways' on the south, a timber-framed house with a gabled cross wing at the south end. Probably of C16 origin, The cross wing is jettied on the lst storey and the ground storey is faced in brick with an early C19 bay shop window with glazing bars. Roof tiled, with 2 gabled dormer windows. (RCHM 7).

The Church of St Mary, Premises occupied by L Pegram and Son, Churchways and Church Cottages Nos 1 and 2 form a group.
