House, now shop. Late C18, altered mid C19 and late C20. Rendered limestone rubble, coursed limestone rubble and dressings to 3-window Oxford Street front, brick ridge stacks and stone slate roof hipped to corner. Double-depth plan to corner site. 3 storeys; 4:1:3-window range. Splayed 1-window corner, 1980's restored shop fronts have panelled jambs and fascias to plate-glass windows; horned 2/2-pane first- and second-floor sashes, with 2-window range of 6/6-pane and second-floor 3/3-pane sashes to the right. INTERIOR: not inspected. HISTORICAL NOTE: on site of the Red Lyon Inn (see also No.3 Oxford Street, qv).
