GV II

House, divided into 2 and now returned to one house. Late C18, divided and refenestrated mid C19. Coursed, squared limestone rubble with limestone dressings, brick gable and ridge stacks and stone slate roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Originally a symmetrical front, the former central doorway converted, C19 doorways each side, that to the right now blocked, the left-hand one with a half-glazed door. Evenly-spaced windows have horned sashes with margin bars, and central and right-hand shop windows with fascias, consoles and cornices and mid C20 casements. INTERIOR: not inspected.
