Early C20 flat-roofed single-storey extension to front contains porch with attached bay window of 3 12-pane sashes to each side. Door has ornate leaded glazing to upper panel and 2 side-lights; rectangular 3-pane overlight; 3 stone steps with urn-topped iron rails. Upper storeys have 12-pane flush sashes with shouldered wedge lintels and projecting cills of stone. Dentilled eaves. Square flat platform at centre of roof (former iron railing and small glazed chamber, whence the Prospect, are removed).

Vigorously expressed Edwardian surgery/dispensary wing of brown and red brick at rear. A small early C20 extension against right end.

Interior: Oak stair of 1 flight per storey with winders at head, swept rails and curtails, stick balusters. 6-panel doors in lower 2 storeys, 5-panel in upper storey; 2 broad-boarded doors. The Edwardian extension has a good stair; 3 round arches of slender, square classical posts carry a "bridge" landing; all of polished hardwood.
