BUSCOT THE STREET (West side) SU2397 Nos. 19 & 20 5/19 GV II Pair of semi detached houses. 1893. In Cotswold vernacular style by Sir Ernest George and Alfred Yeates for Alexander Henderson of Buscot Park as recorded on the doorway lintel of No. 20. Coursed rubble stone and stone dressings, gabled stone tiled roof and stone stacks. An L shaped plan of 2 storeys with asymmetrically placed windows of 1-, 3- and 4-light mullioned openings with leaded glazing. Projecting bay window on the E front of No.

19. Tudor-arched doorways with plank doors, to No. 19 hidden on the N side whereas that to No. 20 forms a roadside feature on the E front with a flat projecting hood and the aforementioned inscription.
