Circa 1840-50 ashlar villa with slight Italianate details. 2 storeys to road, raised on terrace with lower ground floor facing garden to south. Low hipped slate roof with shaped brackets to flat eaves. One window only to centre of road elevation.
West side has one window each floor to left hand, blind window to right hand. Recessed glazing bar sashes, cornice on consoles over ground floor one. Small later window inserted. Central 2 storey porch with plat band, cornice and blocking course - one window to front on 1st floor, smaller blind windows to sides. Double panelled door with large semi-circular fanlight - moulded archivolt springing from impost band. South garden front of 3 windows with round headed sashes to ground floor and to lower ground floor which is screened by 3 bay arcade with impost band in centre of terrace. Pierced stone balustrade to terrace. 2 window east front - glazing bar sashes.
West Brow, Vale View House, St Christopher, Combe Ridge and Belmont form a group.
