House, now 2 houses. Circa 1600, extended to S C18, extended to rear and both ends and divided in C20. Timber frame, lower part of front cased or replaced in brick, all roughcast, with steep old red tile roofs. A long 1-storeys range set back from road facing E. 6 gabled dormers to eaves.

2-lights flush casement windows. Gabled porch to each house. Canted bay window to LH bay of S house (Woodside). Front outshut to N bay of N house (No. 2). Originally a 3-cells, internal-chimney, lobby-entrance house with chimney a third from N end. Later C18 chimney a third from S end, and further bay added to S. Continuous rear outshut and extra bay each end when house divided, leaving 2 bays of original house and old internal chimney in No. 2. Interior of Woodside has exposed frame on ground floor rear wall, and close-studding on 1st floor front wall, with clasped purlin roof.
