House, C18, possibly on earlier core, rubble stone with Bridgwater tile roofs and centre ridge stack. Basement, two storeys and attic. L-plan. Front range has two window range of sashes, centre blocked door and basement, full-height at south end. North gable, to street, has 16-pane attic window, 4-pane first floor sash and ground floor bowed 24-pane shop window. Rear wing possibly once a drying shed apparently has piers immured in the upper wall. Large central C20 doors and window to right under timber lintel. South end gable of front range has 2-light flush mullion window each floor. Formerly a bakery and before that part of the complex of buildings associated with the tannery at Turleigh.
