BIGBY STREET 1. 5264 (North Side) Parish Church of St John TA 00 NW 2/54 C GV 2.

1842-3. Architect, W A Nicholson. Early English style with south-east porch tower. Small coursed stones with ashlar dressings. Tower with buttresses and arcaded cornice and belfry opening with arcaded treatment. Corner pinnacles.

Slate roof. Aisle has 8 windows arranged in pairs, with buttresses marking bays.

Plinth. Interior has arcades of octagonal piers with double chamfered arches.

Chancel of 1 bay has sexpartite vault.

Nos I to 5 (consec) form a group with the Parish Church of St John.
