CLUNGUNFORD C.P. - SO 48 SW 5/104 Rowton Grange - - II

Farmhouse. C16. Timber framed, partly rendered; plain tile roofs; brick ridge stack. H-plan; hall range aligned east-west facing south with crosswing at each end. 2 storeys, irregular fenestration, casements; exposed close studded timbers framing immediately below eaves of hall range. Rear. Exposed timber framing to left hand (east) wing: 4 square panels to eaves and straight braces; collar and tie beam roof truss with v-struts above the collar and 3 vertical studs below. Irregu- larly placed casements to rendered hall range and right hand (west) wing.

Detailed inspection not possible at time of resurvey (September 1986).
