C18 facade faces river. Colour washed roughcast. Hipped old tiled roof.

2 storeys. 3 windows, those of upper storey sashes, the outer ones 3 light, ground floor has two later canted bay windows. Central door with tented lead roofed canopy. Important position at the Junction of Thameside and Friday Street. 2 windows to Friday Street including eastern bay of C17 cottage, casements and sashes, all, except ground floor western sash, have glazing bars.

No 9 (Baltic House) forms part of a group with the listed buildings on Friday Street and also with Nos 10 to 12 (consec) Thameside.
