C18. L shaped plan forming corner at approach to barn from bridge.Hart Street facade of red brick with bracketed modillion wooden eaves cornice, slate roof. 3 storeys, 7 windows, the eastern 3 bays advanced. All sashes with glazing bars. Modern, red-brick portico with terra-cotta lion.

River front facade of the earlier C18, the southern 6 bays are the oldest and have string courses. Silver grey brick with red quoins and window surrounds, similar cornice and roof. 9 windows segmental headed to upper floors. All sashes with glazing bars.

No 18 and The Red Lion Hotel and stables form part of a group with No 52 Hart Street, The Parish Church of St Mary and Henley Bridge at this entrance into the town.
