SU 61 NW DROXFORD MIDLINGTON 7/40 Arkle Cottage (formerly Midlington Farm Cottages) II C17 timber-frame, with recladding c1800. Walls of painted brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, cement plinth: the rear wall has exposed framing in the upper part. Tile roof, half-hipped at the north end, hipped at the south and extended to a low eaves, gabled dormers. West front elevation of one storey and attic, 2 above 3 windows. C20 casements. Boarded door in a plain frame.
