SU 55 17 9/58 W.A. Stainer GV II

House, with two ground floor shops. Three bay timber frame of c1600, with early C19 refronting and rear extensions. Stucco front wall, rear of painted brickwork. Tile roof. East front elevation of two storeys three windows.

Victorian sashes in reveals. The ground floor has two identical Victorian shopfronts (each a splayed bay with cornice, and a doorway) and a plain central doorway. The rear extensions end as tile-hung gables and a half hipped gable.

Inside, the frame is exposed, a chimney has been inserted, and there is a dog- leg C18 staircase.
